Independent lab tests following standard ASTM protocols confirm that the ASET™ technology in Orion 5000-EL:

Two independent laboratories performed ASTM tests with Orion 5000-EL engine and fuel lubricant, following industry standard protocols.
The tests performed and results experienced are as follows:

ASTM D482 — Ash Content from Petroleum Products
99.9999% Ashless Upon Combustion
Orion 5000-EL was found to burn 99.9999% ashless upon combustion.
ASTM D613 — Cetane Number of Diesel Fuel
4.65% Increase in Cetane
Untreated ULSD = 43 Cetane Number
Orion 5000-EL Treated ULSD = 45 Cetane Number
Orion 5000-EL Engine and Fuel Lubricant has shown to improve the cetane numbers in ultra low sulfur diesel fuels.
Higher cetane numbers lead to improved engine performance, improved cold weather starting, and according to the Unites States EPA, a reduction of dangerous NOx emissions especially in non-road fleets where less cetane-insensitive technologies exist.

Orion 5000-EL will also improve existing lubrication levels found in ultra low sulfur diesel fuels, leading to improved engine performance and increased longevity of fuel injectors and fuel pumps.

11.63% reduction in wear scar diameter when added to a leading brand synthetic motor oil
26.19% reduction in the coefficient of friction when added to a leading brand synthetic motor oil
Orion 5000-EL's molecular properties increase the lubricity of conventional and synthetic motor oil reducing metal on metal friction and scarring. Adding Orion 5000-EL to any motor oil improves its performance and reduces engine wear.
